About Wagon House Gardens

About Wagon House Gardens

On arrival at Wagon House Gardens you are greeted with a colourful and varied display of garden plants and garden related items. Take a leisurely walk through the covered plant centre and take advantage of helpful advice from Karl, relating to each of the plants requirements such as positioning, feeding and pruning. This will enable you to select something entirely suitable for your garden or as a great gift.

All plants are specially selected healthy stock, either from our own nursery nearby or other from trusted local growers. Our display includes many varieties not normally available in other garden centres or nurseries, so you can be assured of choosing something special and unusual. Our varieties include species for either shady or sunny areas, for fragrance or to attract wildlife into the garden, many being bee and butterfly friendly.

New Planting

New Planting

Despite the rain outside Wagon House has been really busy, under cover, planting up hanging basket plants so that they are ready for a glorious showing this summer!!

You can either buy the plants direct or ask us to refill and restore your old baskets for you.

Baskets can be collected and delivered back to you so please contact us.

We also plan to run some courses again in late spring to show you the tricks of the trade so you can make your own too..

Throughout the seasons

Throughout the seasons

For 'grow your own' gardeners, a good selection of vegetable plants is also offered. Summer baskets and refills can also be ordered ahead.

Throughout the year events are held featuring a specific genus. Our year starts with the Hellebores in Spring, then Penstemons and Salvias with Asters in the Autumn. Regular visits will provide you with continued seasonal interest, so please check the website for forthcoming dates.

Wild Bird Feeds

Wild Bird Feeds

To complement our plants we also offer a selection of wild bird feeds to attract the widest varieties of birds into your garden. Wagon House also have a range of hand crafted feeders, nesting boxes and garden related items.
