Our friendly restaurant team have developed a well-earned reputation for their fresh home-made lunches, desserts, and cakes. We make a wide range of meals, snacks and catering for most tastes and requirements, including vegetarian and vegan. Included in the foods on offer, you will almost always find gluten and diary free options, as well as diabetic-friendly items.

We do not take bookings for the daytime restaurant unless you are a large party requiring special tables (of 9 or more). We have a servery counter system and, day-to-day, we rarely suffer for seating.
On special occasions, such as Mother's Day or Easter Sunday, we run a partial table waited service for desserts and coffee to reduce queuing.

We also offer table waited service for groups of 9 or more at a small additional charge (£2.50 per person) which requires booking in advance (£5.00 non-refundable deposit per person required).

Challenge 25 is a retailing strategy that encourages anyone who is over 18 but looks under 25 to carry acceptable ID (a card bearing the PASS hologram, a photographic driving license or a passport) if they wish to buy alcohol.

We recognise that there are many reasons for dietary constraints and they differ from person to person. We are familiar with the most common on these restrictions, whether they are food allergies and intolerances, such as dairy-free, shellfish allergies, nut-free and gluten-free, or special dietary requirements, such as vegetarian, vegan and pregnancy.

If you have any allergies please notify the counter staff or waiting staff, (where applicable.)

We have options available to meet your needs on the lunch time counter - if you are following a vegan diet and would like a hot lunch, please call us the day before your visit to advise us.

We also provide gluten free and vegan cakes.

The Restaurant has a Garden Room/Conservatory and looks out over the Worcestershire countryside to Hanbury Church and the Malvern Hills, as well as onto the Jinney Ring's gardens and duck ponds. Even on the wettest days there is something to watch in the gardens!

As well as the large restaurant area there is a cosy lounge within the building. The lounge is furnished with armchairs and sofas, and is the perfect setting for a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of cake on cold damp days, especially with the log fire roaring.

Both the restaurant and lounge are particularly pretty at Christmas time (as seen in the picture) when it is decorated for the season.

During the summer it is lovely to eat outside next to the duck ponds. The ducks are quite tame and will always be there if you drop anything like bread!

There is garden furniture throughout the main garden as well as sun umbrellas.

Only food purchased on the premises may be consumed in our grounds. (We do not have a picnic area.)

We are always happy to discuss special parties or events during the daytime. There is a small private room adjacent to the restaurant that can be used for these occasions, or if you are happy to hold your event in the public areas we can also be quite flexible. Every Sunday there is a roast carvery in the Farmhouse Restaurant. With 2 choices of roast meats, a fish and a vegetarian option, with freshly cooked local vegetables, you are guaranteed a good meal.

The carvery lunch is currently priced between £9.50-£11.95 for the main meal. A dessert from our wide selection of home-made desserts is £4.65.

Our cooks love to experiment and make lots of different desserts - there is always something to make your mouth water and tempt you away from that strict diet!

We make all of our cakes and desserts in our own kitchens from scratch, and also have some gluten fee and diabetic variants available.

You can also order desserts and cakes to take away or for special occasions. We can make personalized birthday and anniversary cakes as well as many other dishes.
