COVID 19 - PLANS - Introduction and Overview

The safety of our staff and customers is of paramount importance and we are have made our plans to reflect this at the Jinney Ring.

We are being guided by Government for the re-opening timetable, regulation and general advice.

Please see below our phased re-opening plan plus actions to reduce the spread of the virus.

Please be aware that we are a small business within old and quirky buildings, therefore social distancing measures will only be achievable with the co-oeration and thoughtfulness of our customers.

Phase 2 - Gardens and Marquee Café

The Government have now announced the re-opeing of restaurant and pubs from early July. We are currently studying the guidance to ensure compliance but it is already clear that some of the requirements witll take some time to put in place.

We will start in the safest possible way by opening the gardens fro restaurant use first.

July 9th - The gardens and an outside and tented eating area will be available for customers, this will be table ordering and service.

We will be required to take details from all customers when we open up - this is to comply with government contact tracing rules. We will ask you for name of each member of the party and telephone number plus e-mail address. This information will be stored for 21 days and then destroyed.

Our menu will include drinks, ice cream, cake and some lunches.

All marquee and garden tables will be socially distanced and furniture should not be moved.
Tables will be for customers of the Café only and there will be limited access to the gardens.

Outside toilets will be open at this point.

We plan to open the marquee/garden café everyday but hours during this cafe start-up period may vary and will be weather dependent. Changes in status will be posted on our website where known in advance.
