What they said

These are just a few of the wonderful comments we have had after the wedding receptions and parties at the Jinney Ring.
Happily we see many of our the couples and a lot of the familes afterwards as they become regular visitors and part of 'the family' here!

Diane - Mother of the Bride (August 2017)

I just had to write to you to say an enormous thank you for making Alexandria and Dave's Wedding Day so wonderful!
It was truly an amazing day without one single hitch. Amanda, you co-ordinated everything with warmth and professionalism - well done! Also, the help and advice you gave Alexandria during the planning was second to none and I am so grateful to you.
I have had so many compliments from guests who were extremely impressed with the Jinney Ring. The Wedding Breakfast and the Cheese and Pie Cake, etc. was perfect and absolutely delicious. Many thanks to the chefs too!
With my sincere thanks and very best wishes, Diane

"Our day with you was all so special. The food was great, both day and night, and the staff were so pleasant and helpful throughout the day. You have a beautiful venue and a wonderful team. From start to finish it was what we wanted and more."

Jenna and Ross fell in love with the idea of a relaxed countryside wedding - it took them a while to work out what and how and it all 'evolved' into a very personal country style garden marquee. Jenna made all the bunting (hung onto garden twine) and picked fresh lavender and flowers. Ross was charged with finding suitable table setting roundels. All the family helped to decorate. Following the meal the wedding party moved to the barn restaurant for an evening party.

"Thank you for all the hard work you put into our wedding reception - we had a perfect day and wouldn't change a thing, just what we wanted."

Laura and Mike wanted to keep things simple with a really relaxed and stress free day. They opted for a pig roast in the gardens, no table plan, and yards and yards of bunting (all made by the Bride's Mum!). They married in Hanbury Church so we knew when to expect them .... when the bells stopped ringing!
Louise and Richard

"I can't tell you how many messages we have had to say what a memorable and perfect day all of our guests had." "We love the Jinney Ring and have done since our first ever visit, we feel as if you have embraced us as one of your own..."

Louise and Richard decided that not only did they want to enjoy their wedding at the Jinney Ring, but they also wanted to marry in Hanbury Church on the hill above us. We could tell when the service had finished as the bells were ringing out in celebration.
This couple have an amazing sense of fun - this included incorporating a 'bucking sheep' into their afternoon tea party. They then moved inside to the courtyard marquee for the evening meal and more antics. Eventually they did all come outside again, when it was dark, to sail candle boats on the ponds.
Probably should mention that Louise is an Aston Villa supporter as you can see...

"Thank you so much for organising such a wonderful wedding for us. The food and decorations were fantastic and you kept us calm and relaxed throughout the whole thing!"

Mandy and Steve knew just what they wanted for their wedding cake - so they told us and Chef Shirley created it!
We can make your wedding cake for you too - the Jinney Ring team are well known for their cakes ... of all sorts. We have had cheese wedding cakes here too!
Rachel and Shane

"....We knew we had picked the right venue the second we first saw it 12 months ago. The recepetion was everything and more that we had wished for - everything from the location, the marquee, the food, the organisation, staff and service was incredible - you even got the weather spot on as well!"

Rachel and Shane came to one of our Wedding Fayres and loved the luxury marquee in the gardens here, so a year or so later they were sitting in a very similar one as man and wife. They decorated the marquee in their own style and Rachel's Mum arranged all the flowers herself. They had a flautist quartet play on arrival which sounded gorgeous throughout the gardens and later a characturist made memories of the day for them.
The pair both love our ducks and did not forget them either - they gave duck food as favours, and this went down very well indeed!
Rebbeca and Ron

"With our love and thanks for all you have done over the last few months.....the most wonderful day, we will never forget."

Rebbeca has been a regular visitor to the Jinney Ring for a long time so we were delighted when she and Ron chose us for for their wedding party. We knew the whole process would be great fun too as they both have a wicked sense of humour! Ron is well used to speaking in public as he is a retired Baptist Minister -- he looked really comfortable with the microphone for the speeches, it was hard to take it back off him!!

The Parents and Families
