These two brides are responsible for the Jinney Ring holding Wedding Parties - both of their families are close neighbours and the girls played in our gardens as children so, it was quite natural that they wanted to get married here.
They both had full marquees in the gardens - decorated and set up quite differently!
Jessica married Richard in the first picture and Hannah also married Richard (a different one of course!) Happily we see them all quite regularly.
Mandy and Steve knew what they wanted for their wedding cake - so they told us and Chef Shirley created it!
We can make your wedding cake for you too - the Jinney Ring team are well known for their cakes ... of all sorts, we have had cheese wedding cakes here too!
Emily and Sam arrived in a helicopter and landed in the garden!
We have had some lovely cars here bringing the Bride and Groom for their Wedding Breakfast
Charlotte and Mark came all the way from Rubrey in this Camper Van!
Sarah and Liam brought their beloved dogs along to share their special day - we are nothing if not flexible here!
Tammy and Lee wanted something unusual in their day so did some glass blowing before their wedding breakfast
Joanne and Matthew wanted something to interest their guests while the photographs were being taken on arrival here - Jessica the Eagle Owl happily obliged (Falconry can be arranged)
Lynsey and Paul decided to run their own music for their party so arranged for green uplighters in the courtyard marquee and then ran their IPOD through speakers -- we were a bit worried that without a DJ no-one would dance but need not have, they were a real "party people" and danced the night away!
Matt and Rebekah love our ducks and ponds and they were determined to include them in their day -- the ducks certainly appreciated it!
Rebbeca has been a regular visitor to the Jinney Ring for a long time so we were delighted when she and Ron chose us for for their wedding party. We knew the whole process would be great fun too as they both have wicked senses of humour! Ron is well used to speaking in public as he is a retired Babtist Minister -- he looked really comfortable with the microphone for the speeches, it was hard to take it back off him!!.
This was a second wedding party for the Englishman Nick and American Lindsey who had tied the knot in the USA the week before. They wanted to share their wedding with their UK friends so did it again at the Jinney Ring. The English weather was really not kind to them, but this did not deter them from dodging the raindrops for photos and partying hard. (The courtyard marquee held up to the deluges very well!.) For this second party they opted for a hot buffet for their guests.
Maureen and John had a big surprise engagement party at the Jinney Ring in early 2011, so we were absolutely thrilled that they decided not to "elope" and instead came back to us with a small group of close friends to celebrate their wedding with us in October the same year.
